Kamenice in Dubrovnik

"The place is beautiful, we had to wait in the line but it moved quick and was worth it. The service was quick, efficient and helpful. The food was very good for the price. The tagliatelle with shrimp and the calamari were really good! The shrimp risotto was a bit undercooked and under seasoned, but overall was a good meal. Overall, highly recommend it for the price/quality and the atmosphere."

"Kamenice was recommended by our Airbnb host, and it turned out to be one of the best local spots we visited in Dubrovnik. Known for small local fish and seafood, it did not disappoint. The mussels were delicious, the calamari was probably the best we’ve ever had, and the oysters were fresh and flavorful. We also tried the house wine, which ended up being our favorite in Dubrovnik. It’s a very popular place, so definitely go early—there was a line both times we visited, but it was absolutely worth the wait. A must for authentic local seafood lovers."

"I was in the mood for pasta with tomato sauce and that was exactly what I was served! Nothing fancy but tasty and perfectly seasoned. It could have been hotter. My friend ordered the seafood pasta and said the same. The service was excellent and very friendly and the location absolutely cannot be bettered! I think this would be a great option if you were dining with children. It’s a fairly limited menu, but covers all the basics!"

"We had a dozen of delicious oysters (our reasons to dine at Kamenice), the octopus salad n pasta, both v well prepared. The cheese omelette was normal. Three glasses of wine to wash the food down. Meal was graded good even though we noticed the guarded nature of the waiting staff. I guessed we visited Kamenice for the food, so we left pretty happy n filled. Thank u for feeding us n prepared us for the many steps to climb"

"Their risoto are similar to the Spanish style paella. For me, the black risoto lacks flavour, a bit bland. But the seafood risoto was good! Seafood flavours from the ingredients and broth, with tomato based sauce. The prawns Bouzzara was the main highlight! Croatia’s prawns has a distinct taste…naturally sweet and meaty. The sauce is also tomato based with some bits of vegetables. Good to have some bread on the side!"

"It was one of the best restaurants I visited in Dubrovnik. It must be a relatively reasonable price in the old town. It was crowded, but we were able to get a table right away. The mussels were nice with a bit solty. The black squid ink risotto had a strong flavor, great. The green tagliatelle with shrimp was creamy and one of my best memories for my trip. The staffs were so kind and friendly. I would like to go and eat again."

"To be honest, we didn't even expect this place to be so good! Walking around the old town in the evening, I accidentally saw a girl eating mussels out of the corner of my eye and I immediately wanted to try them! There was a line of 8 people at the entrance to the cafe, but they quickly prepared a new table for us and in 5 minutes we were already having dinner with our mussels with a beautiful view of the old town. The menu has a lot of different seafood items! I was incredibly pleased with this, because in other restaurants there is only fish... I want to pay your attention to the portion sizes! Having gotten used to the typical deception of tourists, we were impressed that 1 portion of mussels is as much as half a kilogram! This was very pleasant! In terms of taste, these were also the most delicious and fresh mussels that we tried in the city. Also, the waiters very quickly replaced our plates for shells and brought wet wipes - this is a real indicator of the high level of service. We ordered some house wine on tap with the mussels - which was the best decision! Thank you for the warm welcome, we will definitely be back!"
